NEX Series® Pump Control Panels
The NEX Series® simplex (8 x 6 x 4″) and duplex (10 x 8 x 4”) pump control panels feature compact designs that are ideal for residential applications. The innovative internal design of components and integral mounting tabs make installation quick and simple. Plus, the universal pump voltage and control/alarm power allows the NEX Series® pump control panels to handle three voltages (120/208/240V). The simplex panel is designed to control one single phase pump in water and wastewater applications, while the duplex control panel is designed to alternately control two single phase pumps in water and sewage installations, with the alternating action equalizing pump wear. Two control switches activate a power relay to turn the pump on and off. If an alarm condition occurs, an additional alarm switch activates the audible/visual alarm system. In addition to the alternating pump control, these systems provide override control should either pump fail.
TOPP Covers
JMI offers a variety of basin covers from TOPP Industries in steel, stainless steel, fiberglass, structural foam, and aluminum in a range of sizes for construction and retrofit applications. These covers include all necessary accessories and most are available immediately from stock for standard applications. Customized configurations are available as well.
Fiberglass composite covers have excellent weather-ability, heat and extreme cold resistance, and chemical retardant properties. Various composite cover styles are available: solid, simplex, duplex, hinged & lockable hatch, simplex with access, duplex with access, “frogmouth” hinged & lockable, and septic riser. All stainless steel hardware and gasket material are included with each cover. Composite cover features include: UV protective coating; 300 lbs. per sq. ft. load rating; non-skid surface; cost effective; easy to install and maintenance free; various sizes available; zero theft value; dimensional accuracy and stability, high impact resistance; and exceptional uniformity.
H-20 Hatch/Access covers are designed for a load rating of 16,000 lbs. with a 30% impact factor, applied over a 10" x 20" area. Intended for use in off-street locations with occasional traffic; sidewalks, medians and road shoulders are examples of acceptable installation locations. Features include: 5/8" thick ASTM A36 smooth steel; steel curb frame with anchor legs; a hot dipped galvanized finish; and threaded holes for eyebolts to assist in lifting. Covers, round or square and in solid, gas tight hatch, or hinged hatch, are available in 18", 24", 30", 36", 42", 48", 60" & 72" diameter (larger upon request).
Steel covers are powder-coated for durability and to reduce corrosion. Covers are quarter-inch thick and come in a range of diameters. Structural foam provides maximum durability, as they won’t crack or dent. Available in diameters up to 30”, they are gas tight for sewage and mitigation applications, plus they are packaged with all necessary inlet grommets for ease of use for the contractor.
Need a PVC cover? JMI can make one in less than two hours to meet any specification. We manufacture customized PVC covers regularly, and up to 48”.
Demersible Chopper Pump
The Barnes’ Deming Demersible Chopper Pump is equipped with an innovative, unique, first-of-its-kind, patented chopping technology that slices even the most troublesome solids in the waste stream. It can easily chop and pass solids like rags, mop heads, pillows, glass, organic material, and literally any solid, including tough items commonly found in jails or prisons! Available in both standard and explosion proof designs. Demersible Chopper Pumps are offered from 3HP to 150HP in 3-inch, 4-inch, 6-inch, 8-inch, and 10-inch discharge sizes. Heat treated 440C Stainless Steel chopping blades with 53-60 HRC cut hard items with minimal impact on sharpness. Blades typically last for seven to eight years. White Iron (25% chrome) impellers are available as an option for abrasive applications involving sand, grit, gravel, etc. Applications include agricultural, dairies and food processing, marine/onboard processing, commercial wastewater (schools, correctional facilities, high rises, zoos, etc.), and industrial wastewater/power and utility plants.
Inline 1100 SpecPAK Pressure Boosting System
Offering a simplified solution for a pressure boosting system, the Franklin Electric Inline 1100 SpecPAK™ is a quiet, compact system that can be easily mounted to the floor, wall, or ceiling to reduce its footprint and maximize floorspace utilization. This pressure-boosting system provides a simplified way to select a packaged system for boosting water pressure in applications requiring one to five pumps. The Inline 1100 SpecPAK easily connects to nearly any commercial, industrial, or large residential plumbing configuration. Instead of choosing individual components within the system, contractors simply determine how much water flow is required to be boosted to the desired constant pressure output. The system comes prepackaged and ready for installation virtually anywhere with a product footprint small enough to be hung in a small closet.
VR SpecPAK Pressure Boosting System
The Franklin Electric VR SpecPAK Pressure Boosting System is a pump and drive package that combines the benefits of its high-performance VR Series vertical multistage pump with an efficient TEFC motor and variable frequency drive specifically designed for pump applications. It is ASHRAE 90.1-2010 compliant and is designed with NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 certified isolation valves. Users can easily configure it to comply with pressure-boosting needs in most commercial, industrial, or multi-residential applications for constant-pressure operation with several available options according to flow needs, control enclosures, interfaces, and additional communication ports.
